You too can generate funds for your school through textile recycling. The process could not be simpler.
Each school that enters the BCR textile recycling scheme is allocated it's own Textile Contracts Manager. BCR's own in-house representative will visit the school and provide free demonstrations, talks and education packs.
How it works...
Each term a day is selected as ‘Recycle Day’. On this day children bring in unwanted wearable clothes and paired shoes from home in plastic carrier bags.
We will then arrange to pick up the clothes from your school and take them back to our depot for sorting.
School collections are provided free of charge.
The revenue generated from the textile and shoes is paid directly back to the school.
The weights collected are then reported to your local authority and contribute towards their recycling targets.
